Description

A systematic archaeological field walking survey was conducted to inform proposed groundworks at two sites for the Louth Flood Alleviation Scheme. A small assemblage of redeposited material was recovered during the survey, comprising a piece of medieval roof tile, a medieval iron nail and two pieces of probable medieval slag at the northern site, and a single piece of medieval pottery from the southern site. {1}{2}
