Description

A programme of historic building recording was conducted prior to the conversion to residential use of a small complex of former farm buildings at Netherdene Farm, Aisby. The surveyed building comprises a mid 19th century, stone-built barn, thought to have originally been used as a hand-threshing barn, but later converted to storage and livestock accommodation. Further alterations in the late 20th and early 21st centuries replaced the roofing material and added new lean-tos and extensions, considerably enlarging the complex. {1}{2}
