Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the installation of new drainage at The White House, on the National Trust's Gunby Estate. Features relating to the construction and occupation of the building were recorded, including brick foundation courses and garden feature edging, and a former rubbish pit, from which late 19th century material was recovered. {1}{2}
