Description

An assessment of significance was produced after a site visit and historical research into The Lodge at School Lane, Brattleby, conducted to inform proposed extensions and alterations to the property. The building is a former gate lodge to Brattleby Park, and is thought to have been constructed in about 1780, when the park was established. The building is single-storey, and is built of coursed rubble with a hipped roof, although it has been subject to considerable alteration and extension. {1}
