Description

Excavations at Bolingbroke Castle were undertaken by P. L. Drewett and D. J. Freke on behalf of the Department of the Environment during 1973. An area 30m by 15m within the castle walls was excavated to reveal the footings of the Hall. Earlier features were recognised but not excavated. {1}{2}
