Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during the excavation of stanchion pits for the construction of a new warehouse on land at Camel Gate / Marsh Road, Spalding. Extensive alluvial deposits were revealed across the site, along with the remains of a medieval ditch, an undated pit and a natural palaeochannel. {1}{2}
