Description
A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during internal alterations at the Church of St Mary, St Mary's Lane, Claxby. Foundation stones of the original south wall of the church were revealed, along with deposits relating to the 1871 restoration by James Fowler. {1}{2}
