Description

An archaeological evaluation was conducted to inform proposed residential development on land to the west of 93 Nettleham Road, Lincoln. A section of the Roman aquaduct was revealed, along with a road surface of likely 18th or 19th century date. An assemblage of largely post-medieval material was recovered, although a small quantity of medieval and Roman artefacts were included. {1}{2}
