A fluxgate gradiometer survey was undertaken to inform proposed development on land at Beckside Farm, Osgodby. The survey identified a number of zones of magnetic variation that may indicate areas of archaeological activity, and included magnetic anomalies that were thought to represent the remains of pits of uncertain date. These pits may be associated with possible former industrial activity in this area. {1}
