Description

Petrological samples were taken of stonework from the north wall of the north tower, to inform proposed works at St Peter and St Paul's Church, Bourne. Three different rock types were identified in the wall, from the intial wall construction material, stone used in a phase of repair works and material used to block a former passsageway. {1}{2}
