Description

A scheme of archaeological recording was conducted during the groundworks for an extension to the vicarage at Church Walk, Bourne. The monitoring recorded a stone-lined drain that had incorporated several architectural fragments, thought to have been taken from Bourne abbey, likely after it had been demolished during the Dissolution. {1}{2}
