Description

Eight trial trenches were excavated as part of a wider investigation of the archaeological remains of the First World War training camp at Belton Park. Although few structural remains of the camp were identified, a substantial artefactual assemblage was recovered, illustrating many aspects of everyday camp life. {1}{2}
