Description
An earthwork survey was conducted prior to proposed development at Pear Tree Farm, Mar Dyke East, Saltfleetby St Clement. The survey recorded two distinct areas of medieval ridge and furrow, separated by a possible boundary ditch. These areas very likely represent discrete fields associated with the medieval agricultural system around the settlement of Saltfleetby St Clement. {1}{2}
