Description
An earthwork survey was undertaken to inform the creation of a management plan for Bratoft Moated Manor and Landscape. Areas of medieval activity were recorded, including rectangular plots, interpreted as the remains of former crofts, an area of pronounced banks, ditches and ponds, interpreted as an Elizabethan formal garden, and the moated enclosure of Bratoft Hall. {1}
