Description
A watching brief was undertaken during the groundworks phase of construction for a new stables block at Wainfleet Bank. Evidence of medieval occupation of the site was recorded in the form of a short linear gully, containing small quantities of animal bone and pottery sherds of 11th or 12th century date. {1}{2}
