Description
Three trial trenches were excavated to inform the proposed construction of a new irrigation reservoir on land at Deeping Gate Trees, Market Deeping. The remains of two post holes and a single linear feature were recorded, along with a number of natural features. No dating evidence was recovered from the archaeological features, however, and their exact origin and function remains unknown. {1}{2}
