Description

A watching brief was maintained during Phase I Engineering Works relating to the formation of the Burton Waters Marina basin and associated floodgates. It also incorporates the results of monitoring during topsoil stripping and excavations to form fishing lakes in fields to the north and north west of the Woodcocks complex. There was a lack of archaeological remains, but useful information concerning the ancient environment was yielded. {1}{2}
