Description

An excavation was conducted to find the remains of a crashed German Dornier aircraft in Shire Wood, Revesby. It is not known how much of the aircraft was identified or excavated. A large assemblage of Romano-British greyware pottery was found with fragments of oyster shells, above a layer of stone sets of pebbles/boulders. {1}{2}
