Description
A watching brief was conducted during the excavation of the foundation trenches for an extension to the Thatched Cottage, Southrey in July 2005. A probable medieval pond, eight sherds of medieval pottery, two sherds of medieval tile and one sherd of 17th to 18th pottery was found. {1}{2}
