Description
During 1980 Peter Chowne, on behalf of the SLAU undertook a small rescue excavation on a Bronze Age cremation cemetery in Ropsley. This was the second excavation of an urn cemetery in the area, the first being at Old Somersby. Both sites had been discovered through fieldwalking. {1}
