Description

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in April and May 2010 during striping of the overburden for a new road and visitors' reception building at Belton House, Belton. Late post medieval pottery and brick were found associated with an old garden path. Animal bone and a copper tent ring were also revealed. {1}{2}
