Description

Tree-ring samples were taken of timbers from the bellframe and belfry floor in order to inform the proposed renovation of the church bells at All Saints' Church, North Scarle. Analysis showed that some of the timbers for the belfry floor were felled in 1842, whilst the bellframe timbers were felled in 1716. {1}
