Description

Extensive excavations of an area of about 5500 square metres on the fen edge in Billingborough parish. Excavated by the Cardyke Research Group in 1975 and the South Lincolnshire Archaeological Unit in 1977 and 1978 using the resources of a Manpower Services Commission Job Creation Scheme. The Director of the excavations was Peter Chowne. {1}{2}{3}
