LINCOLN SK96NE NEWARK ROAD 1941-1/5/284 (East side) 02/10/69 No.210 (Formerly Listed as: NEWARK ROAD (East side) No.210 former lodge to Bracebridge Hall) II Former lodge to Bracebridge Hall, now a house. c1883. Red brick with blue brick dressings, sham timber framing with nogging in coloured tile and Adamantine Clinkers, shaped plain tile roof, and single side wall and gable stacks. Tudor Gothic Revival style. Chamfered plinth, brick bands, jettied first floor on brackets, fretted bargeboards, gable finials. 2 storeys, 2 bays. T-plan. Ground floor has segmental pointed casements with patterned brick heads. East side has to left a wing with 2 casements and above, a hipped wooden oriel with a 2-light pointed arched window. To right, in the return angle, a lean-to porch with 2 smaller casements and a door in the north end. To its right, a single casement. Above, a large gabled dormer with a 2-light pointed arched window. North gable has 2 casements and above, an oriel with a 2-light pointed arched window. To right, a single storey range with half-hipped roof. 2 small casements, and a single casement to west with a crest above it. West side has a coped wall to the kitchen yard. To right, a gabled wing with a segment headed door and above, an oriel with a 2-light pointed arched window. INTERIOR not inspected.
