Description
SK 98 SE HACKTHORN HALL DRIVE 1/16 2 grave slabs, under eaves on south side of nave at Church of St. Michael G.V. I Grave cover, now in 2 parts. C10. Ashlar. These stones are very worn but show traces of elaborate interlace decoration. They would have originally been laid flat, covering the surface of the grave and most likely associated with the headstone listed separately. Found when the earlier church was demolished in 1849. A C19 engraving shows the decoration in more detail. Listing NGR: SK9911782346
