Description
1. 1671 ST MARTIN'S (West Side) No 44 (Music School of Stamford High School) TF 0306 2/494 II GV 2. Mid-late C19. School building in coursed rubble, Stone slate roof. Gabled to road, Plinth. Modern window of 6 lights under dripmould beneath lunette in diaper shaped reveal. Door under dripmould. 2-storey section set back to right has 4-light window in gable with finial above a 3-light window. 2-light window to right. Ground floor windows have dripmoulds. 2 tall paired diagonal set chimneys. Nos 39 to 43 (consec), Garden Wall to No 43, No 44, Wall to No 44, Nos 45 to 70 (consec), Garden Wall to Nos 68 and 69 with Burghley Almshouses form a group. Listing NGR: TF0314706619
