Description
1. 1671 KING'S MILL LANE No 2 (The Vale House) TF 0206 1/125 22.5.54. II GV 2. A large rambling stone house of varying dates with frontage mainly to garden on west side. Street front has a large 2-storey bowed oriel in stucco from 1st floor level (garage doors below) with 3-light double-hung sash windows with glazing bars to both storeys. The attic has a casement set in gable end of mansard roof, Door of 6 panels in plain stone frame, segmental arch. Main door in plain stone frame has a detached semi-circular fanlight with patterned glazing bars above the doorway. Sadid to be of C17 and C18. Interior may be of interest. Nos 2 and 3 (consec) form a group. Listing NGR: TF0264906925
