Description
1. 1671 HIGH STREET (North Side) Nos 18 and 19 TF 0307 1/96 22.5.54. II* GV 2. Mid C18. 3 storeys in ashlar. Stone slate roof with 3 hipped dormers, hidden behind parapet. Block rusticated quoins. Band between 1st and 2nd floors. Moulded cornice and 6-panel parapet, with triple keystones, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, some broken. C19 shop fronts, Incorporating 6 composite fluted columns, and remains of moulded frieze and cornice over passage entry, In very poor repair (July 1971). Nos 14 to 31 (consec) and Public Library form a group. Listing NGR: TF0301707185
