Description
1. 1671 ST PAUL'S STREET (North Side) No 7 (Including small building at rear) TF 0307 1/291 22.5.54. II GV 2. Probably C15 or earlier. 2 storeys, rendered, modern ashlar to left. One large gable with double oversail and a C19 canted 5-light oriel with tiny stone slate roof and C19 glazing. Small rectangular early C19 shop window to right and 4-panel door to left, built under overhanging gable. A 2nd rectangular bay to left with C19 shop front continues into hipped dormer in 2nd storey with C19 casement window and hipped roof of stone slated. Interior has walls of mediaeval thickness and a small probably C17 building in poor repair behind, now used as an outhouse, but once a small hall. 3 contemporary leaded windows. See Nos 8 to 10 also.
