BELTON & MANTHORPE Belton MAIN STREET, (North side (off)) Remains of pigeoncote in Belton Estate Woodyard (Formerly Listed as: VILLAGE STREET Dovecote approx 50 metres west of Belton Club) SK9239 1315-0/8/47 Listed 21/09/79 GV Grade II Remains of pigeoncote. Mid C18. Brick, with ashlar dressings, formerly with pantile roof, now a roofless ruin. Square plan. 2 walls at right angles remain standing, with tiers of brick corbelled flight shelves and nest boxes. On one side, a segment headed recess and a flat headed doorway. Outside, a lean-to addition with pantile roof. Listing NGR: SK9290339623
