Description
1. 1671 ST MARY'S STREET (North Side) Nos 5 and 6 TF 0207 1/256 22.5.54. II GV 2. C18 origin. One building. No 5 is coursed rubble, No 6 is painted. 2 storeys and attics. Steep roof of stone slates containing 2 dormers, one modern of 4 lights. No 5 has 2 windows and No 6 has one window with hung sashes, flush frames and original glazing bars. Ground floor of No 5 has 2 bowed modern shop windows under cornice, glazing bars with bottle glass. Modern stone stall risers. No 6 has one chamfered Jamb to door and an C18 bowed shop window without glazing bars. A mediaeval stone buttress at south end of elevation reaches to 1st floor. Modern fielded door to No 5. 2 stacks at gable ends. Nos 2 to 26 (consec) form a group. Listing NGR: TF0295507061
