BITCHFIELD AND BASSINGTHORPE SK 92 NE BASSINGTHORPE 2/2 2 gravestones in churchyard 4 and 9 paces from porch on south side of Church of St. Thomas a Becket G.V. II Pair of grave slabs. C16. Limestone ashlar. 2 tapering slabs with coped tops, the thicker ends supported by rectangular vertical panels. The more southerly has a carved cartouche and cabled fluting to the end of the slab and the panel beneath has Doric columns to either side. The other has a scrolled end with a quatrefoil.
