Description
1. 1671 HIGH STREET (North Side) Nos 15 to 17 (consec) TF 0207 1/95 TF 0307 1/95 22.5.54. II* GV 2. Range of 3 buildings similar in date and type to No 14 (qv), but with slightly less projecting eaves. Early C18. Ashlar. Stone slate roof. No 16 has one cambered dormer, No 17 has 2. Good modillion eaves cornice. 3-2-4 windows with bolection moulded surrounds continuing into bands at their heads. All have hung sashes. No 17 has central 1st floor 3-light sash window with small pilaster strip, dentil frieze and moulded cornice and small pediment. Blind bolection moulded panels on either side. Nos 14 to 31 (consec)and Public Library form a group. Also forms a group with Nos 13 and 14. Listing NGR: TF0300207171
