Description
1. 1671 HIGH STREW (North Side) No 8 TF 0207 1/91 22.5.54. II GV 2. Mid C18. 3 storeys and attics in red brick. Mansard roof of stone slates with stone capped gable ends and 2 gabled dormers, double-hung sashes with glazing bays, Heavily moulded eaves cornice on modillions, Modern shopfront. 3 windows, all in plain reveals, hung sesames with restored glazing bars. 2nd floor windows are full length and each has simple wrought iron balcony. Top storey has a central semi-circular window in moulded brick surround, and all 3 have fluted brick keystones and moulded cills. Label to central window, Good staircase in upper storeys, Portion to rear is a 3-storey house of stone of mid Cl8. High old slate roof. 2 dormers. 3 windows. No 4 and Nos 6 to 12 (consec) form a group. Listing NGR: TF0296607152
