Description
1. 1671 ST GEORGE'S SQUARE (South Side) No 21 TF 0307 1/162 22.5.54. II* GV 2. Front elevation of 1772. House in ashlar, of slightly lower build than No 20. 2 storeys and attics. Moulded wood eaves cornice. Stone slate roof with 2 hipped dormers with casements. 4 windows with plain stone frames and triple keystones, Stone band at 1st floor cills, Part metal doorcase in Greek Doric with open mutule pediment to left of front, Good door with 3 panels, one carved, and rectangular glazed fanlight, abasement windows in plinth. Rear elevation has a good balcony on cast iron pillars, with staircase down to garden. The Church of St George, Nos 1 to 7 (consec), Nos 9 to 12 (consec), Outbuilding to No 12 and Nos 14 to 22 (consec) form a group. Also Nos 1 to 7 (consec), Nos 9 to 12 (consec), Outbuilding to No 12 and Nos 14 to 22(consec) with Nos 25 and 26 St Mary's Street form a group. Listing NGR: TF0315407057
