Description
1. 1671 ST GEORGE'S SQUARE (South Side) No 20 TF 0307 1/414 22.5.54. II GV 2. Late C18 front elevation to earlier house in ashlar. 2 storeys and attics. Stone slate roof with 3 dormers, 2 gabled, 1 in centre with segmental head, all with casements with glazing bars, Good dentil eaves cornice, 5 windows in plain reveals with moulded stone cills, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Central doorcase with Tuscan pilasters and pediment, 8-panel door, 2 panels glass. Plinth with moulded capping. 2 stone stacks. The Church of St George, Nos 1 to 7 (consec), Nos 9 to 12 (consec), Outbuilding to No 22 and Nos 14 to 22 (consec) form a group. Also Nos 1 to 7 (consec), Nos 9 to 12 (consec), Outbuilding to No 12 adn No 14 to 22 (consec) with Nos 25 and 26 St Mary's Street form a group. Listing NGR: TF0316507058
