Description
1. 1671 ST GEORGE'S SQUARE (North Side) Nos 2 to 4 (consec) TF 0307 1/154 22.5.54. II GV 2. Front elevation of 3rd quarter of Cl8. Cottages in coursed rubble, in one range, under one roof of stone slates. 4 hipped dormers with modern casements. 2 storeys 2 brick stacks. 4 windows, stone surrounds, triple keystone, sashes with glazing bars. Door of 6 panels to No 2, 2 glass, under rectangular wood hood with moulded cornice and soffit. Foot scraper. Similar doors to Nos 3 and 4, but slightly smaller, set together in centre of block, spaced to correspond with that of No 2. Dilapidated Royal Exchange plaque No 89323, of 1st April 1784. The Church of St George, Nos 1 to 7 (consec), Nos 9 to 12 (consec), Outbuilding to No 12 and Nos 14 to 22 (consec) form a group. Also Nos 1 to 7 (consec), Nos 9 to 12 (consec), Outbuilding to No 12 and No 14 to 22 (consec) with Nos 25 and 26 St Mary's Street form a group. Listing NGR: TF0317507094
