Description
1. 1671 ST MARTIN'S (East Side) No 23 TF 0306 1/206 22.5.54. II GV 2. Early C17 and C18, 2 storeys, Coused rubble, stone plinth. 2 windows with flat arches, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, flush frames, stone cills breaking the arches of the 3-light windows below. Part-glazed modern door under small rectangular hood on moulded brackets. Inset foot scraper. A C13 pillar has been encased during alterations to the interior, and is no longer visible, but indicates early origin of house. Nos of 18 to 38 (consec)and the Church of St Martin form a group.
