Description
TF 1210-1310 MARKET DEEPING CHURCH STREET (west side) 12/139 Nos. 62 and 64 (Formerly listed 30.10.68 as School) G.V. II Former school, now house. 1819. Coursed and banded limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings. Collyweston slate roof, having 2 red brick gable stacks. 2 storey, 5 bay front having off-centre 6 flush panel door with to left a single and to right 3 glazing bar sashes. To first floor are 3 smaller similar windows with to left a further dropped glazing bar sash. All openings have flat ashlar arches. Above the middle window to the right is a rectangular stone panel inscribed "Erected by the Feofees of Market Deeping Charity Estates A.D. 1819". To either side of the door are semi-circular headed boot scraper insets. Listing NGR: TF1373210164
