Description
A minor amendment of 7 February 2014 changed the initials picked out in black headers to 'TP' (from 'TH'). A minor amendment of 14 March 2014 changed the date of the opening of the Louth Canal to 1770 (from 1767). TF 39 NW NORTH COTES THORESBY BRIDGE 5/43 Warehouse at Thoresby Bridge II Warehouse. 1821. Red brick, pantile roof with raised coped gables. 3 storey, 7 bay front with plain eaves course, having central blocked wide doorway with cambered brick arch, originally flanked by 3 two light plain casements, 4 of which are now blocked. To first floor are 7 similar windows, only 2 of which are unblocked. Ground and first floor windows have cambered brick arches. To the second floor are 2 light shuttered openings to eaves. To right gable is a blocked window with above a 7 staged pigeon loft opening. In the red bricks used for the gable are picked out in black headers the letters 'TH' and the date '1821'. The warehouse is sited on the Louth Navigation Canal, opened in 1767. Listing NGR: TF3357799765
