Description
ROUGHTON DALDERBY TF 26 NE 8/31 Manor Farm House 14-9-66 II Farmhouse. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber frame underbuilt in brick, colourwashed. Hipped thatched roof with decorative ridge, large ridge stack. Baffle entry, L-plan. Single storey with attics, 4 bay front having off-centre half glazed door covered by a C20 gabled rendered brick porch. To left a single and to right 2 plain sashes. All openings have segmental brick heads. 3 through eaves dormers with C20 casements gabled thatched roofs and on the corner is a C20 2 light dormer. Interior retains a substantial amount of timber framing and some late C17 dado panelling said to come from the demolished Church of St. Martins at Dalderby. Listing NGR: TF2507665972
