Description
SOMERSBY HALL FARM LANE TF 37 SW Bag Enderby (south side) 2/73 Hall Farmhouse (formerly 14.9.66 listed as Bag Enderby Hall) G.V. II Farmhouse. Early C16, with late C18 alterations. Whitewashed brick. Pantile roof. Right side with 2 large rebuilt C17 external red brick stacks, red brick stack to left gable. Right 2 bays with band of dentil following the line of the gable and remains of a first floor band. Set on a plinth. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the right 2 bays slightly project and are gabled. Doorway with part glazed door, to the left is a single C20 tripartite glazing bar casement and to the right 2 glazing bar sashes. Above is a single glazing bar casement with 2 glazing bar sashes to the right. All openings under segmental arches. Attached to the right is a lean-to with segmental arched doorway with plank door. Interior has restored C17 open well staircase with barley-sugar balusters and newels with pendants and finials. Listing NGR: TF3495671970
