SOUTH ELKINGTON ELKINGTON ROAD TF 38 NW 8/43 Garden house, (formerly listed as 9.3.67 Entrance Lodge at Thorpe Hall) G.V. II Entrance archway and trap house with groom's accommodation. Early C19. Red brick with ashlar dressings, pantile roof with single ridge stack. Single storey with attics, 3 bay front. Central rusticated basket arch having impost and key blocks, ashlar reveals with to left a sliding glazing bar sash under a stone lintel and to right a smaller rusticated ashlar archway with double planked doors to trap house. 3 glazing bar sliding sash dormers with shaped bargeboards and rendered cheeks.
