Description
BOSTON TF34SW LONDON ROAD 716-1/2/85 (West side) 14/02/75 No.179 and gateway (Formerly Listed as: LONDON ROAD (West side) No.179) GV II Lodge to West Skirbeck House, and gateway. Early C19. Rendered with hipped slate roof, stone dressings, overhanging eaves, 2 end wall stacks, rendered. L-plan. EXTERIOR: single-storey, 3-bay front with 3 margin light sashes. In the rear wing a 6-panel door with grooved wooden surround with roundels and flat hood. To the north are 2 ashlar gate piers, now containing a C20 5-bar gate. INTERIOR: not inspected.
