Description
BOSTON TF3243SE LONDON ROAD 716-1/14/89 (West side) 14/02/75 No.6 The Ship Inn GV II Public house. Late C18. Red brick in Flemish bond, pantile roof, 2 gable stacks, rendered gable walls. EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 5-bay front, with plinth and 1st floor band and brick dentilled eaves course. A central panelled door with plain overlight flanked by pairs of sashes. To first floor 5 plain sashes. All openings have brick segmental heads with keystones. Decorative wrought-iron sign bracket. INTERIOR: not inspected. HISTORY: first licensed in 1815.
