History Legacy Record - This information may be included in the List Entry Details. Details TF 19 SW CLAXBY ST. MARYS LANE 9/3 Claxby House G.V. II 1-11-66 House; Late C18 with C19 alterations and addition; colour washed brick, stucco dressings, hipped and gabled pantile roof with ridge brick stack. Two storey, 4 bay garden front, the left hand bay being a C19 addition with ground floor canted bay window and glazing bar sash over. The 3 bay late C18 front has a central glazed door with plain moulded surround and slight hood, flanked by single tripartite glazing bar sashes. First floor has a central glazing bar sash flanked by further tripartite glazing bar sashes. All windows have flat brick arches and stucco keystones. The rear has an extension with dentillated eaves.
