Description

TF 04 NW SOUTH RAUCEBY Off MAIN STREET (North Side) 2/99 No. 70 II Former tower mill, now house. Early C19, extended C19, altered C20. Tall tapering tower of 5 storeys, red brick in Flemish bond, flat roof not visible behind eaves corbel course. To ground floor are a pair of glazed French doors and to the third floor a pair of half glazed planked doors. Otherwise there are small hinged cast iron glazing bar lights to each floor. All openings have segmental brick heads. To left is an added coursed squared limestone rubble block with pantiled roof having raised stone coped gables and single brick ridge stack. 2 storey 3 bay front having central planked door with to left a large C20 window and to right a single C20 glazing bar casement with segmental brick head. To first floor are 3 similar windows to the eaves. Listing NGR: TF0242545694
