Description
TF 06 SE METHERINGHAM HIGH STREET STREET 5/38 (north side) War Memorial II War Memorial, 1919. Portland stone statue of infantryman with bowed head, resting hands on butt of up turned rifle. Standing on polished granite plinth inscribed "To the Glory of God and in Memory of the Men of Metheringham who fell in the Great War 1914-18. They died that we might live. Also 1939-45".
