TF 1209-1309 MARKET DEEPING MARKET PLACE (north side) 13/171 Barclays Bank 30.10.68 (formerly listed as Midland Bank) G.V. . II Former house, now bank. Late C18, altered C20. Squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Collyweston slate roof with stone coped gable and plain tiled hipped end to right. Single gable and ridge ashlar stacks. L-plan. 3 storey, 3 bay front with 3 flush ashlar bands. Central C20 door with traceried fanlight and open dentillated pediment to wooden doorcase, flanked by single broad C20 glazing bar sashes. To first floor are 3 original narrower glazing bar sashes and to second floor are 3 small square similar windows. All windows have raised stepped keyblocks. To right side front is a further similar doorcase with glazing bar sash to the right and 3 similar windows to the upper floors, all with matching keyblocks. Listing NGR: TF1394009944
