Archive for the desk-based assesment and a programme of systematic field walking, conducted to inform proposed residential development on land at Church Road, Old Leake. The field walking recovered a large quantity of post-medieval pottery, particularly in the area immediately fronting Church Road. Smaller and more generally distributed quantities of medieval and late Anglo-Saxon pottery were also recovered.
